The lifetime of the engraving depends on the use you make of it but also depends on the location of the engraving on your cutting board. For example, most people are right handed. If you were to put you engraving in the middle of the board to cut your vegetables and fruits on, it might wear off quicker than if you have it on the bottom left. You might want to consider this before you engrave your personalised quote. 

We suggest you treat your cutting board once a month if you use it on a daily basis or even a couple times a week.
